DescriptionThe HSE Manager will lead and manage all aspects of health, safety, and environmental compliance. This role ensures adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies, while fostering a culture of safety and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of pharmaceutical industry standards, and experience implementing proactive safety programs.
Compensation: $106,995.20/YR
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program.
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, Emergencies and Weekends as needed.

ResponsibilitiesRegulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, FDA, and state/local regulations.
- Maintain and update permits, licenses, and environmental reporting requirements.
Safety Program Management:
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety audits.
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis; implement corrective actions.
Training & Development:
- Design and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors.
- Promote safety awareness and continuous improvement initiatives.
Environmental Stewardship:
- Oversee waste management, emissions control, and sustainability programs.
- Monitor environmental impact and drive initiatives to reduce carbon footprint.
Emergency Preparedness:
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
- Coordinate drills and ensure readiness for potential incidents.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and submit required regulatory reports and internal performance metrics.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and compliance activities.
QualificationsEducation:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field (master’s preferred).
Experience:
- Minimum 7+ years of HSE experience in a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of managing compliance programs and leading safety initiatives.
Certifications:
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), or equivalent preferred.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, FDA regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence and drive cultural change across diverse teams.
