Position Overview
We are seeking qualified and compassionate Registered Nurses to provide care in school-based clinics, homes, and community settings. This role supports individuals and families by assessing health needs, delivering care, and promoting overall wellness.
This position works under the direction of a nursing supervisor and follows a standard work schedule. Candidates should be comfortable working in environments where they may encounter a variety of health conditions and situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in school, clinic, home, and community environments
- Assess physical and emotional health needs of individuals and families
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams
- Support overall health education and wellness initiatives
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college
Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical nursing experience
- Pediatric experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and standards
- Strong assessment and patient care skills
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
- Ability to work well with diverse populations
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to complete a criminal background check and/or fingerprinting if selected
- Selected candidates must complete a six-month probationary period
- Education must be from an accredited institution (international degrees must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency)
