YOUR POSITION WITH TNC
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator supports implementation of approved marketing and communications plans, including event planning, coordination, and operational execution. The role provides administrative, logistical, and project support across campaigns, events, and communications initiatives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator coordinates marketing, communications, and event-related projects. Supports development, production, and distribution of marketing and communications materials. Coordinates logistics such as venues, vendors, travel, registrations, and on-site operations. Tracks project milestones, budgets, and deliverables, and reports progress to project leads. Provides administrative and operational support to the marketing and communications team.
RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE
Project and Events Support:
Coordinates assigned projects and event operations under direct supervision and established guidelines.
On the day operations.
Administration:
Interprets guidelines, tracks data, and maintains records related to events and communications activities.
Supports vendor coordination and procurement processes.
Branding and Messaging:
Ensures strong attention to detail, adheres to TNC brand guidelines and maintains quality control across deliverables.
Collaborate with AP teams to craft and assemble PowerPoint slides for events, aligning messaging and design with overall marketing objectives.
Report writing and editing.
Digital Marketing:
Coordinates and executes social media asset production, distribution and management.
Coordinates and executes EDM marketing campaigns and communications, including mapping, designing and implementation.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders in AP Marketing and Communications and AP Donor Communications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree and 1-year related experience or equivalent combination.
Experience with relevant technology such as Microsoft Suite needed for communications, constructing reports and managing calendars.
Experience providing administrative or project support.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Multi-lingual skills appreciated.
Multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience preferred.
Experience writing, editing and proofreading written materials.
Experience supporting events, workshops, or convenings, including logistics and on-site coordination.
Solid knowledge of technology with ability to produce reports, use mail merges and advanced Excel, Outlook or Word functions.
Experience in Social media marketing and analysis platforms
Experience in EDM marketing.
Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work across cultures and with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to coordinate efforts and organize in order to complete assigned tasks/projects.
