Leads the strategy, governance, and execution of licensed operations training programs for BWRX-300, and related technologies. Serves as a senior training leader responsible for regulatory compliance, instructional quality, operational alignment, and continuous improvement of initial and continuing training programs. Provides functional leadership across instructors, subject matter experts, and cross-functional partners, and acts as a key interface with internal leadership, customers, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure training excellence and operational readiness.

- Lead the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Initial Certification/License Training Programs for BWRX-300, and related technologies using the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) and industry best practices.
- Provide overall program governance and quality oversight for Operations Training KSA Analyses/Catalogues, Job and Task Analyses, Task-to-Training Matrices, curricula, evaluation strategies, training schedules, instructional materials, and evaluation instruments.
- Direct the development and sustainment of Continuing Training Programs for licensed and non-licensed operators, ensuring alignment with operational, regulatory, and business requirements.
- Establish and maintain high standards for instructional quality across licensed and non-licensed training programs for BWRX-300, and similar technologies.
- Serve as the senior training representative in internal, customer, industry, and regulatory engagements, providing credible technical leadership and ensuring effective communication of program strategy, status, and performance.
- Provide functional leadership, coaching, and direction to instructors, program developers, and training personnel to support consistent execution, high-quality delivery, and strong team performance.
- Lead training program reviews, performance assessments, and self-evaluations to measure effectiveness, identify gaps, establish priorities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Own the development, prioritization, and closure of corrective actions related to training program deficiencies, ensuring timely and effective resolution of identified issues.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Regulatory, Fleet Services, and other business functions to align training programs with plant, customer, and enterprise needs.
- Support planning and prioritization of training resources, schedules, and program deliverables to meet business commitments and regulatory deadlines.
- Provide strategic input to training program direction, modernization, and process improvement, including the use of digital tools, LMS platforms, CBT, and multimedia learning solutions.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must have and be able to maintain the Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) Instructor Certification (BWR)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the nuclear power industry.
- Minimum of 10 years training experience in the nuclear industry, familiar with nuclear industry standards and training practices.

- Willingness to travel to GE and customer sites as needed to support training, program reviews, and business initiatives.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to operations personnel, leadership, customers, and regulators.
- Demonstrated ability to lead training development and delivery efforts that translate complex technical content into effective learning solutions.
- High degree of personal integrity and professionalism, with the ability to manage proprietary, confidential, export-controlled, and technically complex information.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, manage risk, and deliver results under demanding schedules with limited supervision.
- Strong interpersonal, planning, project leadership, and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to influence across functions and levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple priorities with a high level of accuracy, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and training-related systems and databases.
- Knowledge of nuclear power plant technologies including BWR and PHWR/CANDU.
- Experience developing and implementing training programs under NRC and CNSC regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with Initial and Requalification Certification Examination development, administration, and evaluation.
- Experience delivering all phases of Operator Training, including GFES, Station Systems, and Simulator.
- Experience with Computer-Based Training (CBT), multimedia learning content, LMS platforms, training databases, and related digital learning tools.
The base pay range for this position is $123,700.00 - 206,100.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.
