Position Overview
The Corporate Paralegal III will be responsible for supporting Invenergy’s in-house Legal department with preparing, filing, and reviewing documents related to development, M&A, project finance, and corporate governance matters while working cross-functionally with other teams within the organization to meet project needs. This on-site position will be located at Invenergy's headquarters in downtown Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities
Provide corporate organization and entity management, including (i) formation, maintenance and dissolution of entities, (ii) creation and maintenance of corporate organizational charts, (iii) conducting UCC/lien searches as part of due diligence process, (iv) facilitating officer/director modifications, and (iv) tracking and managing membership interest certificates and share certificates
Assist in the preparation of various corporate documentation including resolutions, consents and assignments, coordinating signatures as necessary
Assist internal and external legal teams and other departments, including Development, Finance, Tax and Treasury, in administering projects through construction, financing and achieving commercial operation
Assist in the development of virtual and in-person training sessions to commercial business teams in connection with company legal policies and procedures, use of the company’s entity management system, and additional legal education topics as needed
Aid in the maintenance of internal records relating to 1200+ U.S. and Canadian legal entities
Support review, response and remediation of incoming Know Your Customer (KYC) requests as necessary
Required Qualifications
4-6+ years of corporate transactional experience within a mid-to large-size law firm setting
Proficient in MS Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, SharePoint and PowerPoint
Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively, depending on the situation
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability and desire to work effectively in a team environment
Experience in construction, development and/or renewable energy sector highly preferred
$41.00 - $47.50 USD Hourly
Bonus: 15%
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
