Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to oversee utility scale solar construction projects. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the construction site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations. You will work closely with project managers, construction crews, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of solar construction projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide on-site leadership and supervision to construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors.
2. Coordinate and schedule construction activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and milestones.
3. Monitor and enforce safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
4. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any potential issues or risks.
5. Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement construction plans and strategies.
6. Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring cost control measures are in place.
7. Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to the construction site.
8. Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and change orders.
9. Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, construction crews and other stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
10. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to utility-scale solar construction.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Superintendent in utility scale solar construction projects.
2. Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and safety regulations.
3. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.
4. Proficient in project management software and tools.
5. Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints.
6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
9. Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
