Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Superintendent to join our team in the EPC Utility Scale Solar industry. As a General Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the construction and installation of utility scale solar projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and direction to the construction team, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of the construction process, including scheduling, resource allocation, and subcontractor coordination.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement construction plans and strategies.
- Monitor and enforce quality control standards to ensure the highest level of workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, identify potential issues, and provide guidance to the construction team.
- Manage and resolve any construction-related conflicts or disputes that may arise during the project.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and permits.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the EPC Utility Scale Solar industry.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a General Superintendent in the EPC Utility Scale Solar industry.
- Strong knowledge of solar construction techniques, equipment, and materials.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
- Ability to travel to various project sites as required.
