Junior Environmental Administrator

We’re looking for a Junior Environmental Administrator to support our team at GCL Environmental Ltd., a fast-growing environmental consulting firm working across Western Canada.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to build strong administrative skills while gaining exposure to how environmental consulting projects are delivered—from client coordination to invoicing and data management.

What You’ll Do
- Support project coordination and client management activities
- Assist with invoicing, cost tracking and data entry across internal systems
- Maintain and update project records within internal systems (including SiteView and project databases)
- Enter and verify field tickets and project data
- Upload reports and documents to client systems and portals accurately and on time
- Help ensure accuracy and organization of project information
- Support formatting and QA/QC of documents (Excel and Word)
- Coordinate documents and internal workflows
- Assist with occasional office and team support tasks (e.g., coordination, seasonal tasks, etc.)
- Support light logistics (vehicle pickups, errands when needed)
What You Bring
- 1–3 years of experience in an administrative, coordination, or office support role
- Ability to review administrative and project workflows and identify practical efficiencies and improvements
- Strong attention to detail (you catch what others miss)
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks and  meet deadlines
- Strong communication and follow-through
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 in particular Excel, Word, Outlook
- Comfortable learning new software and systems quickly
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
- Ability to attend Calgary office at least once per week
- Diploma or degree in Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or currently pursuing)
Bonus If You Have
- Previous administrative, data entry, or coordination experience
- Familiarity with databases, client portals, or document management systems
- Â Interest in environmental consulting or project-based work
