This Position reports to:
Director of Health, Safety and Environme
Your Responsibilities
Participate in the evaluation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) risks and identify the main gaps compared to best practices, in order to help define an initial roadmap for the site's OHS priorities.
Contribute to the implementation of basic tools: risk analysis, procedures, incident forms, and action plans.
Create posters and awareness tools, as well as training materials adapted to a start‑up environment.
Participate in waste sorting, team training, and awareness activities.
Support the preparation of the basic elements for the future ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
Take part in internal audits or inspections to monitor the progress of practices.
Propose simple and practical ideas to improve safety and reduce environmental impact.
Integrate ABB Group standards in terms of health, safety, and environment.
Qualifications
Final internship in a program related to occupational health, safety, and environment.
Basic knowledge of HSE legislation.
Ability to work with the Office 365 suite.
Strong analytical and observational skills.
Rigorous, curious, and innovative.
Strong communication and mobilization abilities.
Bilingual: French and English, spoken and written. French is required. English is also required to regularly communicate with clients outside Québec.
