Job Description

Unique Employment are looking for a Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator for our client based in Spalding.

This is a temporary contract for 9 months.

Working hours:

Monday - Friday

8.30am - 5.30pm

Responsibilities include:

To promote Health, Safety and Environmental awareness throughout all areas of the Company and ensure all tasks are completed as required within the relevant Health, Safety and Environmental Regulations
To ensure there are risk assessments and work instructions in place for all activities
To complete regular workplace inspections and safety walks to ensure work areas and equipment are kept in good condition
Maintain and compile Health and Safety statistics for Senior Management and Health and Safety meetings

The ideal candidate:

Must have good communication skills
Be punctual
Computer literate
Ability to work on own initiative
Be committed to the role and demonstrate enthusiasm towards promoting the health, safety and well being of colleagues, and help to provide a safe and healthy environment for work
Knowledge and understanding of a production/warehouse setting and the part Health and Safety plays within that environment
Have good attention to detail
Good analytical skills
Ideally IOSH Managing Safely qualified or hold a similar qualification (desirable not mandatory)
