Position Summary:
Rear Load Drivers are responsible for safely operating a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on commercial and/or residential routes. This position is responsible for efficiently servicing assigned customers while complying with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and with Company policies.
USA Waste & Recycling is offering a sign-on bonus of up to $3000, depending on experience.

Your Role:
- Driving safely and efficiently to complete assigned routes accurately and on time.
- Dump containers manually and/or using a rear lift mechanism.
- Empty vehicle at disposal site
- Participate in all required Company meetings, including weekly safety meetings.
- Assist other drivers with routes when directed.
- Pre and post-trip inspection and report
- Complete route paperwork
- Work all assigned shifts from the scheduled start time to the scheduled end time.
- Take an active role in the improvement of safety and health in the workplace.
- Report complaints and concerns from customers to dispatch professionally.
- Report concerns with the problem professionally to Dispatch.
- Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.

Desirable requirements:
- Appropriate Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Commercial Driver's License A or B with an air brake endorsement is a plus.
- Acceptable driving record
- Able to meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
