Our Industrial Battery Client is seeking an experienced and driven Cleaner / Tea Lady to lead their PE branch.
Purpose of the Role
To maintain a clean, hygienic, and organised work environment at all times, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, while also supporting staff and visitors with refreshments and general housekeeping duties.
Remuneration: Market Related
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Minimum 1 year cleaning experience
- Ability to speak and understand English fluently

Key Performance Areas (KPAs)
Cleaning & Maintenance
- Clean offices, hallways, restrooms, corridors, and all work areas
- Sweep, scrub, mop, polish, and maintain floors
- Vacuum and clean carpets, rugs, and upholstery
- Dust and polish furniture, equipment, and blinds
- Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork
- Disinfect equipment and surfaces
Housekeeping Duties
- Empty waste bins daily and dispose of waste appropriately
- Keep storage areas clean, stocked, and organised
- Replenish supplies (e.g. toiletries, kitchen items, drinking glasses)
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and wash dishes
Hospitality & Support
- Prepare and serve refreshments for staff and visitors
- Prepare boardroom for meetings
- Assist with general office support when required
Compliance & Reporting
- Report damages, breakages, or missing items to management
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards
General
- Assist with any other reasonable duties as required by management
