Role & Responsibilities
In this role, you will support the negotiation, administration, and management of key project contracts for a leading EU developer working on offshore and onshore wind projects. You will provide commercial oversight during project execution and help ensure successful delivery in alignment with the agreed contract management strategy.
Your responsibilities include:
- Working closely with the project management team to support successful project delivery, balancing contractual risks with practical and commercially viable solutions.
- Maintaining continuous oversight of critical contractual milestones, assessing rights and obligations, and ensuring compliant execution throughout the project lifecycle.
- Leading and managing project changes, variations, and claims while safeguarding our client’s commercial interests.
- Providing clear interpretation of contractual terms, preparing and coordinating project correspondence, and monitoring performance against contractual obligations.
- Managing the commercial relationship with contractors during project execution, maintaining proactive and transparent communication to address issues early and effectively.
- Ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery of contractual responsibilities within the defined mandate.
- Leading relevant governance processes and preparing presentations, reports, and decision‑making materials for internal and external stakeholders, including Steering Committees.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of contract management processes, tools, and governance structures.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking driven and motivated professionals who are passionate about renewable energy and excited by the opportunities within a rapidly expanding international business. Ideally, you bring:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Law.
- Experience in a contract management, legal, or commercial role, ideally within a matrix organization.
- Experience in offshore wind, renewable energy, or major infrastructure or energy projects.
- A background in managing, drafting, or negotiating key project contracts.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
- A structured, methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to manage processes independently and lead negotiations with both internal and external stakeholders.
