DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Sales Executive (m/f/i) in France to join the Energy & Industrial Automation Sales team.
The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for driving commercial growth for Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) services within France, Belgium and French speaking part of Switzerland for the renewable energy market. This includes E-Mobility, Energy Storage Systems, Batteries, Inverters, Generators, Solar PV, Grid Code Compliance, On-/Offshore Wind & related technologies. The ideal candidate should possess deep industry knowledge, an established client network and the ability to sell technical, compliance-driven services to component and System manufacturers, OEMs & utilities.
The candidate brings proven experience in driving business growth within a targeted market and demonstrates a strong hunter mentality focused on identifying, pursuing, and winning new opportunities.
The role requires strategic thinking, strong consultative sales skills, and the ability to translate complex technical requirements into value-added commercial proposals.
ResponsibilitiesSales
- Identify and acquire new business opportunities for TIC services across renewable energy sectors.
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, proposal development, pricing, negotiations, and contract closure.
- Sell services such as certification, conformity assessment, quality assurance, quality control, factory audits, due diligence & testing.
- Develop high-quality proposals in collaboration with technical experts and laboratories.
Account Management
- Build and manage long-term customer relationships.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through consistent follow-up and effective project handover to operations.
- Manage accounts and expand wallet share across the customer portfolio.
Market Intelligence
- Identify market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities in the French speaking renewable energy and TIC ecosystem.
- Analyze competitor offerings and position the company’s services accordingly.
- Participate in industry events, conferences and trade fairs to enhance market visibility.
Internal Collaboration
- Collaborate with technical specialists to create accurate scopes of work and compliant offers.
- Work with global and regional sales teams to align market strategy and share best practices.
Qualifications Professional Background
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience within the TIC sector or within renewable energy services.
- Proven success selling technical or regulatory-driven services (testing, certification, inspection).
Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies (Energy Systems, E-Mobility, Solar PV, Grid Codes, Wind, Battery and Storage), project lifecycles, and compliance requirements.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent consultative selling and negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial acumen (proposal pricing, margin calculations, contract terms).
- Experience in hunting for and developing new businesses
- Fluent in French (native level) and English.
Strong CRM pipeline management; experience with Salesforce or similar tools.
Education
Completed vocational training in business field or similar
