We are growing and are looking for an Environmental Engineer I or II, Water at our Carlin operation.

Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, hydrology, hydrogeology, environmental engineering, civil engineering, mine engineering, chemical engineering, or other related field required
- At least one (1) to three (3) years direct experience in environmental compliance, including regulatory agency interactions preferred
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills required
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously required
Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with others required
Ability to identify and implement opportunities for improvement required
Strong computer skills including experience with PowerPoint, Word and Excel required
Ability and willingness to work outdoors throughout the year in all weather conditions required
Ability to lift objects up to 40 lbs. required
Ability to drive results and ensure completion of time sensitive deadlines required
- Familiarity with compliance systems and ISO 14001 preferred
General understanding of mining operations - preferred
