Process Architect - Global Product Compliance & Sustainable Impact
Description -
Job Summary
• The role helps guide the execution model that partners with other process and program managers to understand regulatory, product compliance, supply chain, and sustainability data collection requirements —including market access obligations—through process design, system enablement, and execution, ensuring requirements are governed, traceable, and delivered reliably through the business into assured customer-facing and external outputs. These outputs include substantiated sustainable marketing claims, technical sales support and enablement materials, and public sustainability disclosures (such as the Sustainable Impact Report and sustainability-related digital properties), as well as delivery to customers, regulators, and other stakeholders.
The role exists to optimize operational efficiency by eliminating overlapping or inefficient work, simplifying workflows, reducing handoffs, and reducing unnecessary complexity, while ensuring credibility, auditability, and consistency across compliance execution, sustainability claims, sales enablement, and public reporting—thereby protecting market access, product continuity, and organizational trust.
The role maintains relationships with upper-level stakeholders, coordinates between product management and engineering teams and provides recommendations for departmental or process improvements. The role also engages in mentoring and guiding lower-level employees, thereby ensuring continuous individual as well as team development.
Responsibilities
• Oversees the delivery of internal projects, typically encompassing very large scale and complex projects, spanning multiple regions, presenting a very high level of associated risk.
• Architect and define supply chain sourcing, product compliance, and sustainability value streams from regulatory required data collection and regulation sensing through operational execution and external disclosure
• Define standardized, scalable “golden processes” with other key, existing process architects to ensure consistent compliance and sustainability outcomes across the enterprise
• Translate emerging regulatory, market access, and sustainability requirements and data collection activities into executable process and system designs
• Ensure readiness ahead of regulatory/reporting deadlines and market entry requirements
• Leverage process mining and analytics to identify inefficiencies, risk points, data quality gaps, and excessive handoffs
• Drive automation and control design using low-code/no-code platforms and AI-enabled capabilities
• Design employee-centric workflows that embed compliance and sustainability obligations into daily work with minimal training
• Reduce operational burden by eliminating parallel reporting and manual interventions
• Define and monitor process KPIs (e.g., time-to-regulatory readiness, data accuracy, degree of automation)
• Continuously improve efficiency, scalability, and auditability of compliance and sustainability operations
• Provides recommendations/consultation to management on areas for departmental or implementation process improvements.
• Determines the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyzes results, and troubleshoots problem areas.
• Coordinates between product management, who define requirements, and engineering, who are responsible for implementation.
• Develops project plans, estimations, specifications, flowcharts, and presentations.
• Leads and manages multiple projects by handling scope, cost, quality, communication, root cause analysis, and escalation management.
• Contributes innovative ideas and may lead large cross-functional teams, exercising independent judgment to solve unique and complex problems impacting the business.
• Provides mentorship and guidance to lower-level employees, thus ensuring the realization of operational and strategic plans.
