Shape Something Different – Join WSP’s Remediation Program Management (RPM) Team as a Junior Environmental Professional Contaminated Sites based in Edmonton. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate with less than 2 years of experience to contribute to projects that restore impacted sites and protect natural ecosystems. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in environmental site assessments, remediation programs, and data analysis that make a real difference to communities and the environment.
Your Impact
- Conduct fieldwork including soil and groundwater sampling, environmental monitoring, vegetation assessments and site inspections.
- Assist in preparing technical reports, data summaries, and documentation for regulatory compliance.
- Support remediation projects by coordinating field activities and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions for contaminated site management.
- Contribute to project planning, logistics, and client communication under the guidance of senior scientists.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Bachelor’s degree or College diploma in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Recent graduate or early career professional with less than 2 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting or remediation projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and travel to project sites as required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract.

Compensation (RPM Group)
BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $56,500 – $75,900
MB & ON: $51,600 – $72,000
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $51,100 – $68,800
