About the role

As AGL targets 12 GW of new renewable and firming capacity by 2036, you’ll play a key role in scaling the automation and analytics that will support this growth.
If you want to deepen your energy market expertise, contribute to production‑ready algorithms and shape how AGL’s assets are traded and dispatched, you’ll thrive in this role.

Work closely with traders, engineers and analysts to deliver robust, production‑ready systems
What You’ll Bring
Strong analytical capability with proven problem‑solving and model‑development skills
Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL and modern data tools quantitative modelling, optimisation and algorithm development
A quantitative academic background (e.g. OR, Maths, Engineering, Econometrics, Computer Science)
