Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & System Development: Develop and implement the overall supply strategy for BESS Engineering Services (including Commissioning, O&M, design consultancy, etc.) in the Latin American market. Establish and continuously optimize the procurement management system, including the cost baseline database, supplier evaluation criteria, procurement processes, and policies.
- Supplier Development & Management: Lead the sourcing, development, due diligence, and strategic partnership negotiations with engineering service providers across Latin America, building and maintaining a qualified, diversified supplier pool. Oversee supplier qualification, performance evaluation, and relationship management, driving continuous improvement and fostering long-term, stable partnerships.
- End-to-End Cost Management: Engage early in project phases to conduct cost analysis for engineering services, establishing cost benchmarks by region and project type. Drive cost optimization at the project level through value engineering, bid analysis, negotiation, and other levers to achieve significant cost-saving targets.
- Project Procurement & Delivery Assurance: Manage the end-to-end procurement execution of engineering services for specific BESS projects, including bidding, commercial negotiations, contract finalization, and purchase order management. Act as the procurement interface to ensure project delivery, proactively identifying and managing supply risks (e.g., resources, schedule, quality) to keep projects on track.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with project delivery, engineering, finance, and global procurement teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.

Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic procurement or procurement development, with at least 3 years focused on Engineering Services procurement for BESS, new energy, power infrastructure, or large-scale industrial projects.
- Proven experience in successfully establishing procurement systems, developing, and managing supplier networks in Latin America, especially in Chile.
- Strong expertise in cost modeling, financial analysis, and advanced commercial negotiation, with a track record of building cost baselines from scratch and driving project-level cost savings.
- Language: Full professional proficiency in both Spanish and English (both are working languages).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in EPC project procurement or project management, familiar with the end-to-end project procurement lifecycle.
- Professional certifications such as CIPS or PMP.
- Knowledge of local labor, tax, and commercial regulations in Latin America.
