Construction
CPP is Australia’s leading provider of end-to-end substation solutions for utilities and the renewable energy sector, delivering design, installation, and maintenance services up to 500kV. Specialising in both greenfield and brownfield projects, we have successfully delivered over 100 HV substations nationwide.
As the country’s most experienced contractor in Balance of Plant (BoP) services, we have connected more wind farms and battery storage systems (BESS) to the grid than any other provider. Our one-stop-shop approach covering design, civil, manufacturing, electrical works, grid connection, and commissioning, ensures seamless project delivery.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of major High Voltage infrastructure and renewable energy projects across Australia. This is your chance to be at the forefront of some of the country’s largest and most complex energy and infrastructure developments, playing a critical role in powering Australia’s future.
As a key leader on site, you’ll work closely with the Project Manager and broader project teams to drive successful project outcomes, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all on-site construction activities, including supervision of workers, subcontractors, and site personnel
- Drive successful delivery of project scope in line with schedule, budget, and quality expectations
- Support project management in planning, cost control, and progress tracking
- Ensure all works meet quality assurance standards and compliance requirements
- Participate in project progress, stakeholder, and close-out meetings
- Coordinate and manage network outage applications to enable scheduled works
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Electrical Licence
- Previous site management experience in a substation environment, preferably on a Transgrid site
- Proven delivery experience in completing construction scopes within a project environment
- Demonstrated ability in leading a team and overseeing site works
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to manage site personnel
- Knowledge and experience in safety supervision
