Summary
This position is located in Sagamore Hill National Historic Site, in the Division of Interpretation. Career-Seasonal appointments are permanent with the same benefits as Career appointments, but do not provide work year-round. You will work from approximately Mid-Jan thru Dec and will be in a non-pay status for the remainder of the year. Open to the first 100 applicants or until 04/07/2026. Major Duties
Plan, design, develop, and improve interpretive and educational materials, including waysides, signs, publications, and digital media. Assist with the coordination and instruction of education programs, group reservations, and park outreach. Operate the park visitor center, track park statistics, and ensure visitor safety. Develop and present formal and informal interpretive and educational programming to a variety of age groups on park resources. Assist interpretive training and coaching for staff, interns, and volunteers. Provide administrative and seasonal lead support to the visitor services program, including reporting and data collection, event coordination, scheduling, and marketing.
