Responsible for ensuring efficient and timely daily performance of a solar installation crew.
Job Description
- Monitor and maintain safety at job site
- Organize and conduct daily safety talks
- Receive delivery of materials, check quantities received against packing slip, and inspect for damage
- Supervise all crew members on the project site, including prioritization, job assignments time-punching, conduct, and dress code
- Read, interpret and work from design plans without unauthorized deviations
- Meet daily project installation goals
- Identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Perform quality audits to hold crew members accountable
- Perform periodic system electrical testing
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues
- Periodic documentation of all job details, as required (including checklists, pictures, reports, etc.)
- Ensure that jobs are 100% completed, monitoring is installed and working, and pass all required inspections
- Dispatch appropriate crew member to sit system inspections
- Maintain company-provided vehicle, keeping it full, organized and clean
- Drive a positive morale of the project crew
- Answer questions and concerns to the best of your ability and refer questions to supervisor when unsure
- Perform tasks of Solar Installer, as needed

Qualifications
- OSHA-30 Certified
- First Aid/CPR Certified
- Understanding of Solar Technology and Solar Applications
- 1-2 years Leading a Crew
- 3-5 years Solar Installation Experience
