Summary
This position is part of the Office of the Project Manager, Strategic Petroleum Reserve, Department of Energy. As an Assistant Project Manager for Management & Admin, you will be providing direction and strategic leadership for the planning, development, implementation, management and assessment of the organization.

Veterans shape the future of energy As a Assistant Project Manager for Management & Admin, you will: Provide essential management services and resources to the organization to ensure its effective direction and operation. Assist management in identifying and addressing financial, personnel, and material needs and challenges. Develop budget estimates, justifications, and ensure proper use of funds in line with the operating budget. Counsel management on organizational structures, methods, and effective utilization of resources, including personnel and finances. Collaborate with specialists to resolve management issues stemming from changes in work impacting jobs and employees. Advise on and negotiate various agreements and cooperative arrangements with external entities.
