Your mission
As a Strategy & Sustainability consultant, you will be an integral part of our consulting teams — not an observer, but a contributor. Under the guidance of experienced consultants and managers, you will gain firsthand exposure to how finance, strategy, and sustainability intersect through real client work.
You will :
Contribute to client engagements under the supervision of consultants and managers
Conduct research on ESG regulations, climate and biodiversity dynamics, and market trends
Support the preparation of client deliverables such as benchmarks, analyses, interview guides, and presentations
Assist in structuring methodologies for sustainability assessments and impact measurement
- Participate in internal knowledge development and knowledge-sharing initiatives
- Contribute to the internal develpment of the Team, such as organizing events or implement new tools
To ensure your learning and development, you will be supervised and coached with regular feedback, and your work will evolve as your skills grow. Our goal is to help you become a thoughtful, rigorous and impact-driven professional.
Core Types of Missions You Might Support
Strategic ESG / sustainability due diligence
Portfolio risk & resilience analysis (climate, biodiversity, social dynamics)
Design of adaptation, climate, and regenerative finance strategies
Transformation roadmaps for financial and non-financial institutions
- Development of investment methodologies that embed sustainability into value creation
- Direct support to portfolio companies through GHG emissions assessments, risk analyses, tranings and other customised missions.
What we look for
We are looking for students or recent graduates with intellectual curiosity, strategic thinking, and a desire to contribute to meaningful work.
You are:
- a student or recent graduate with a background or clear interest in finance, economics, strategy, or sustainability
- Brings curiosity, analytical rigor, research skills—and the ability to synthesize complex information
- A quick learner who enjoys problem-solving and teamwork
- Passionate about sustainability
- Motivated to explore the role finance can play in shaping a sustainable, regenerative economy
- Willing to engage not just in project work, but also in building Weastem’s collective knowledge and internal culture
- Communicates clearly in English and ideally French (advanced level necessary); other European languages are a plus
