Cloud Developer (Cyber / SOC Environment) – Top Secret Clearance

Salary: $130,000 – $170,000 + full benefits
Clearance Required: Active Top Secret (ability to sit for CI Poly)
Northwest Talent Solutions is recruiting a Cloud Developer to join a high-performing cyber engineering team supporting a large enterprise Security Operations Center (SOC) environment for a federal mission program.
This role is ideal for engineers who thrive building secure cloud platforms, automation frameworks, and scalable cyber infrastructure within highly secure environments.
You will work on cloud architecture, DevSecOps automation, and application development initiatives that enable next-generation cyber analytics, system resiliency, and secure cloud service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop cloud-based applications and services supporting cyber operations
Implement cloud service delivery models including PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS
Build and automate cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices
Analyze existing applications and recommend cloud migration strategies
Develop and maintain secure cloud infrastructure and application stacks
Debug and optimize cloud environments and distributed systems
Implement strategies for system availability, resilience, and disaster recovery
Support cost optimization and cloud architecture planning
Manage policies and governance for secure cloud platform operations
Design and deliver new cloud software products and major platform enhancements
Required Qualifications:
Active Top Secret Security Clearance
Ability to obtain CI Polygraph
Bachelor's degree required
5+ years of software development experience
Experience administering Linux-based environments
Experience developing, modifying, and maintaining software applications or utility programs
Experience supporting cybersecurity infrastructure environments
Experience implementing or maintaining cloud infrastructure and applications
Preferred Qualifications:
AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner or DevOps Engineer Associate)
Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA)
Experience with Python development
Experience with Splunk and SQL/Oracle platforms
Experience integrating third-party components and automation capabilities
Experience improving and automating operations and maintenance workflows
