Environmental, Health and Safety Intern
Do you want to grow your knowledge of workplace health and safety and obtain on the job experience? NEW Water, the brand of the Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage District, is looking for an Environmental, Health & Safety Intern to assist in Safety Program projects and environmental compliance.
Details about the Position:
The Environmental, Health & Safety Intern will be responsible for the organization and completion of health, safety, and security and environmental compliance projects, assist with safety inspections, SDS database maintenance, safety equipment inspection and maintenance, and safety training review and development. This position will also be responsible for the generation and maintenance of various reports, databases and spreadsheets.
This is a full-time position during the summer with part-time flexible hours during the fall and winter. The approximate start date for the EHS Intern is mid-May 2026.
Hiring Range: $16.21 - $18.49 per hour
Full Salary Range: $16.21 - $22.88 per hour

Education Requirements:
- High School Education or equivalent
- Candidate must be working towards an associates or bachelor degree in Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety, Industrial Safety, Emergency Management, Industrial Hygiene, General Science, Math Engineering or related discipline.
