Responsibilities
Provide expert, graduate-level knowledge in leadership, change management, and sustainability practices. Guide students through their educational experience while upholding the CPS commitment to student success. Respond to student inquiries in a timely manner, within 24 hours. Facilitate class instruction by engaging in the online course portal a minimum of five times per week. Host a minimum of one hour of virtual office hours per week and at least two synchronous class sessions per semester. Demonstrate excellent collaboration and communication skills. Show a willingness to analyze and apply best practices in online education for this subject area.
Qualifications
Experience teaching online in an educational setting, with demonstrated expertise in curriculum development and assessment and a passion for teaching strategy and sustainability. Master’s degree in Business Administration, Sustainability Management, Environmental Studies/Policy, or a related field required; PhD preferred. Minimum of three years of teaching experience in the subject area. Desire to motivate and encourage students in academic and professional settings. Expertise in online teaching and willingness to learn and apply new technological approaches to education. Experience using the Brightspace/D2L learning management system preferred.
