A leading renewable energy provider is seeking a Energy Operations Coordinator to provide operational, administrative, and coordination support to the Wheeling Asset Manager. This is an immediate start working as an Independent Contractor for a period of approximately 6 months, in office three days per week, Monday & Wednesday (9am – 3pm) and Friday (9am – 2pm).

This role will assist in ensuring the smooth onboarding of new wheeling customers, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting platform setup, and facilitating effective communication with customers and internal teams. The position serves as a central coordination point for tracking progress within the wheeling customer process and ensuring information is organised and accessible. The successful candidate will support operational readiness by liaising with internal stakeholders and external partners, maintaining records, and assisting with process coordination to ensure efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities:

Gather, verify, and file all customer and contractual documents
<\/div>
Assist in scheduling customer meetings, site visits and follow -up activities and update progress reports
<\/div>
Responsible for preparing meeting minutes, distributing them to all stakeholders and tracking the completion of action items
<\/div>
Review updated agreements to confirm the accuracy of off -taker details
<\/div>
Support onsite configuration and commissioning activities, ensuring data flows to platforms
<\/div>
Ensure full setup of customers on operational platforms (monitoring, metering, portals)
<\/div>
Create customers on the billing platform with correct contract details.
<\/div>
Run various AM checklists
<\/div>
Update internal software systems with correct customer, contract, and operational data
<\/div>
Log, classify, and route customer queries or complaints to the appropriate internal teams
<\/div>
Assist with general wheeling administration and coordination tasks as needed

Matric

A diploma or degree will be advantageous

Experience<\/b>

4 years’ experience in an administrative support role
<\/p><\/li>
Proficiency in the MS Office Suite<\/b>
<\/p><\/li>
Experience gathering and compiling large volumes of data
<\/p><\/li>
Understanding of contract management<\/b> will be advantageous
<\/p><\/li>
Previous experience in the renewable energy sector<\/b> will be advantageous
