Job Description Summary
The International Services Pricing Leader is responsible for the analysis, strategy and direction of core
services, transactional, CM&U, and life extension. This responsibility spans both New Unit (NU) services and the Installed Base (IB). The pricing leader will be tasked with maximizing GE margin by offering value-backed pricing strategies that not only help GE capture more price but also increase market share.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Contractual Services
- Support all contractual bid activity in your region, attend Risk (R) reviews/pricing calls and provide pricing recommendations into these processes.
- Lead integration with NU pricing team on TSA/FSA price trade-off analysis.
- Build financial models and create outcome-based price recommendations focused on customer financial metrics (NPV, IRR, ROI, LCOE)
- Maintain focus on value optimization and understanding how to use creative levers to solve for customer economics (Conversion Guarantees, Variable Fees, Performance Upgrades…)
- Lead competitive intelligence (gathering of information and dissemination to broader teams)
- Support the quarterly win/loss, selection rate Reviews
- Support New Unit NPI with FSA price targets within your region. Attend NPI tollgate reviews and present services pricing strategy for business approval
- Support IB NPI process with pricing recommendations and value models for aftermarket product launches
- Research and communicate regional market drivers. Incorporate knowledge gathered from industry reports, conferences, tradeshows, etc. into pricing strategies.
- Develop services-specific analytics and dashboards to best communicate price/value and customer competitiveness
- Identify, analyze and drive lean improvements on pricing recommendation processes.
Conversions, Modifications & Upgrades (CM&U)
- Analyze existing CM&U pricing. Ensure pricing is consistent between services and equipment features and accessories (F&A) lists
- Build and maintain value models to justify price adjustments and communicate them to customers
- Support all CM&U customer bids with pricing recommendations
Transactional/Billable
- Create comprehensive analytics on transactional bid activity, success rates, margin levels, etc… Update and improve on an ongoing-basis.
- Manage annual labor rate update process across all International countries
- Gather formal VOC on where and why we lose on transactional bids, formulate strategies to maximize market penetration
- Support key transactional bid opportunities and provide field sales teams with pricing tools that help GE win more deals and at better margins
- Support life-extensions strategies in the International region, to potentially include site repowering.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, or Science from an accredited college or university.
- Substantial wind industry experience
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% throughout your covered region

- Strong financial understanding. Ability to model project economics and build pro-formas
- Ability to analyze and understand complex financial problems

- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong Analytical and Process mindset, ability to deploy lean skillset with knowledge of Tableau or other Business intelligence tools
- Ability to build networks and manage stakeholders at multiple levels and regions/cultures.
