About the role
Zenith Energy is seeking a skilled Electrical Tradesperson to join our team as a Power Station Operator Maintainer. This role will play a vital part in the efficient and reliable operation and maintenance of our power station facilities. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the delivery of critical energy services for our client.
What you'll be doing
- Operating and maintaining reciprocating engines and power generation equipment.
- Routine and breakdown maintenance.
- Repair power generation and auxiliary equipment.
- Power generation and engine management control system maintenance.
- Fault finding and troubleshooting.
- Analysis of power generation equipment, systems and associated auxiliary equipment.
- Preparation and maintenance of internal and external reports and recommending continuous improvement.
- Attend the power station after hours while on site for faults / breakdowns.
- Raise and maintain work order and purchase order requests in ERP.
- Engage in "On Call" activities when scheduled on-site, ensuring a prompt response to any issues that arise after hours.
Experience
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in an Electrical trade.
- Heavy industry or power generation experience in a maintenance role is desirable, but candidates from other sectors may be considered.
- Remote site or FIFO experience.
- Tradesperson-level ERP experience (Pronto) is desirable.
- Supervised Gas Fitter Ticket is desirable.
Skills/Ability
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products.
Qualifications & Clearance
- HV Switching Ticket, desirable.
- WA Electrical Workers license.
- Current WA C-class driver’s license.
