The Sr. Quality Management Analyst leads, manages and analysis all aspects of mid-level complex IT product/service to optimize organizations efficiency.
The Sr. Quality Management Analyst is responsible for providing technical analysis and testing of IT products with the goal of creating or enhancing a quality “user experience”. This position will develop, maintain, and carry out procedures that ensure all information systems products and services meet minimum quality standards and end-user requirements. The primary focus of this position will be to work with project teams to thoroughly test software to ensure proper operation and free of critical defects. This position will adapt industry standard testing tools and techniques when possible and will develop, document, and execute test plans throughout the project life cycle. The Sr. Quality Management Analyst will work in cross functional teams to resolve problems that occur because of testing and will regularly report progress on problem resolution to management. The Sr. Quality Management Analyst will make recommendations for improvement as part of the product and service development processes.
This is a fully remote role for candidates located in the US with preference to those located on east coast.
RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE
Work in lateral teams to provide guidance and expertise to IT staff involved in Functional, User Acceptance, and overall QA testing incorporating best practices of design, development and deployment for new and existing products, standards and/or services.
In partnership with Project Management Office, Business Systems, Operations, and Conservation Systems staff:
Provide detailed and comprehensive functional test scripts that test technical and business process functions.
Create standards for both automated and manual product testing.
Create and maintain a comprehensive and organized repository of test results and knowledge of testing best practices.
Work with users to understand context and apply creative thinking to understand how a user works with and potentially breaks an application to build real world test scripts.
Define Quality standards for IT products.
Conduct best practices and user research in one or more user testing disciplines to expand, evolve, and update techniques, work product, and deliverables.
Develop, maintain, and use test tools and methodologies with an emphasis on QA practice and techniques.
Design, execute and report in multiple areas of user testing.

Proficient with project management, SDLC and Agile methodologies
Experienced with Jira or similar project management tools and strong understanding of infrastructure, business process analysis, and how IT services support organizational operations.
Experience in using test automation tools like TestComplete and Kainos or, open‑source testing tools, and SQL scripting
Strong analytical/critical‑thinking skills to identify defects and edge cases.
Committed to delivering high‑quality user experiences and maintaining testing/technology standards.
Excellent written/oral communication skills, works effectively across teams and cultures with minimal supervision.
Dependable, flexible, and able to work under pressure; demonstrates ownership, collaboration, team‑building, mentoring, and training capabilities
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field and/or combined equivalent of education and experience.
5 years of experience as a quality assurance profession in Information Technology or a related field.
Experience in defining and documenting complex systems test processes and scenarios.
Strong computer skills and knowledge of QA databases and applications.
Experience in implementing and executing QA automation tools.
Experience in communicating effectively with internal and external audiences.
Salary Information:
The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $97,400 – $146,200. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate’s actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment.
