Summary
The typical seasonal entry-on-duty period is May through November, but the season may be extended or reduced due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Major Duties
Operates vehicles and trails specific equipment and tools. Independently inspects trails. Follow detailed written instructions or work orders and oral instructions. Follow established safety protocol and policies. Performs dry stone masonry and rock work in trail construction and rehabilitation and applications. Inspects trail and recognizes errosion control and analysis of drainage patterns. Operates and maintains tools and equipment such as shovels, rock bars, sledgehammers, pulaskis, pick, and mcleods to perform trails maintenance and grounds upkeep. Operate a variety of power tools such as chain saws, rock, drills, string trimmers, Grip-Hoists, various rigging equipment and carpentry tools.
