Summary
The Analyst, Security supports the Global Security team by helping operate, monitor, and maintain physical security systems while assisting with incident response, access control, and security administration tasks. This role focuses on technical support, system performance monitoring, basic investigations, and cross‑functional coordination with IT, Facilities, and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in monitoring and maintaining access control, video, and intrusion systems.
Support badge issuance, access provisioning, and troubleshooting access issues.
Conduct routine system health checks and report performance issues.
Work with IT and external integrators to resolve system or hardware problems.
Manage and track daily security tickets through ServiceNow (or similar).
Assist with incident logging, trend tracking, and producing basic analytics.
Collaborate with Facilities, Construction, and IT to ensure security standards are included in project planning (e.g., generation sites, offices etc.).
Track global events and communicate relevant advisories to traveling employees.
Track and support travelers.
Analyze information received from different sources to support risk/threat assessment.
Assist during incidents, drills, or continuity exercises.
Requirements
Preferred Requirements
Experience with Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, or similar physical security platforms.
Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred).
Understanding of general security standards (NERC‑CIP, ISO 27001, MTSA).

Technical Aptitude: Comfortable with system dashboards, logs, and basic diagnostics.
Analytical Thinking: Able to identify patterns in incidents or system data.
Professional Judgement: Discreet handling of sensitive information.

$28.85 - $34.13 USD Hourly
Bonus: 15%
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
