How You Contribute to Pinnacle Transplant’s Success
The Logistics Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe warehouse by assisting with shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, inventory control, equipment handling, etc. This position is a highly regulated work environment whereas processes are completed through regulated work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
This is a highly active, multi-tasking position that requires standing/walking/lifting 50+ lbs. daily. This position must follow all regulatory compliance for materials. Strong preference will be given to those applicants that have worked in a regulatory/controlled warehouse environment.
- Work hours: Monday - Friday, 6:30 am – 3:30 pm
- Work environment: Manufacturing Warehouse with some interaction within Manufacturing
- Location: North Phoenix, near 19th Avenue and Pinnacle Peak Road
- Pay Rate: $21.00 - $23.50/hour, dependent on experience
What You Will Do
- Support / maintain 5S practices and standards.
- Actively participate in teamwork, collaboration, and respectful interactions.
- Competence in some shipping software transactions.
- Receive and stock some non-tissue supplies and materials compliant with PTT QMS and at expected output rates.
- Transact material movement in PTT ERP system.
- Complete some supplies order fulfillment tasks supporting tissue processing compliant with PTT QMS and at expected output rates.
- Comply with all applicable OSHA, FDA, cGMP, cGTP, AATB, and PTT Quality Management System (QMS) regulations and standards.
- Receive OSHA certification for equipment operations and maintain all safety procedures.
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment, ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
- Escalate issues as appropriate to next level personnel.
- Stay current on all company required training.
- Other duties as assigned.
What Qualifications You Will Bring
- High School graduate or GED, plus a minimum of 1-2 years’ work experience in order picking, order entry/fulfillment is required.
- Familiarity with and experience working under FDA regulatory compliance, HIPAA, cGMP, and cGTP requirements is preferred.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking ability.
Who You Will Partner With
- Daily face to face, written, and verbal communication with Customer Service, Operations/Production teams/leadership, shipping vendors, etc. to ensure all duties are executed properly, timely and according to policies and procedures.
- Regular communication, both telephone and email, with customers to resolve any issues and aid in building good relationships.
Where You Will Work
- Full Time position (40 hours or more) based in Arizona. Hours may include evenings and weekends to perform tasks outlined in the job description.
- Work requires bending, reaching, climbing ladders, and lifting items weighing up to 70 pounds.
- Your work is physical in nature. Duties are such that there will be contact with human tissue and bone which may be considered infectious; use of PPE is required in all work areas.
- Use of warehouse equipment, not limited to, pallet jack and straddle stacker is required. OSHA certification is required for use of equipment.
- Position requires steel toe/composite toe boots to be worn at all time - not provided by PTT
