The ICCT is looking for a summer Fuels Intern based in our San Franciscooffice. This internship provides an exciting opportunity to contribute your research and analytical skills to work that drives real-world impact and advances ICCT's goals. You will report to a Senior Researcher on the Fuels team.
You Will:
- Conduct scientific literature reviews.
- Conduct quantitative or qualitative analyses to support ongoing research- topics may include hydrogen and sustainable aviation fuel
- Write internal memos on specific policy or technical topics.
- Author or co-author ICCT publications, such as working papers.
- Present your work to internal audiences.
You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree in engineering, environmental science, environmental policy, energy and resources, or other relevant subject
- Strong research, analysis, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel
- Proficiency in or R (preferred) or Python for data analysis
- Demonstrated interest or experience in energy, transportation, climate change or related topics
- Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and engage effectively with team members.
Our Benefits:This is a full-time (40 hours per week) internship opportunity that will be based in San Francisco office for 12 weeks and have an hourly rate starting at $24.00. Interns are eligible for a limited benefits package, which includes paid time off, internet subsidy, and other benefits. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
