Role description:
Launch your consulting career in environmental remediation with Arcadis. As an Entry-Level Environmental Task Manager, you will support environmental remediation projects by assisting senior managers and technical experts. This role offers a strong foundation in environmental data management, technical writing, and project coordination, primarily in an office environment with limited fieldwork.
The role sits within our Global Business Area: Resilience - Project and Program Management team. In Resilience, we work to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations. With your energy, agility and a keen eye for detail, you’ll deliver transformational outcomes for multiple clients every day as part of our Project and Program Management team.
Role accountabilities:
- Prepare, review, and support technical writing tasks including reports, work plans, letters, and memoranda.
- Assist in managing and coordinating environmental remediation projects under senior oversight.
- Compile, evaluate, and perform quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) on environmental data.
- Support groundwater monitoring activities including Phase I and Phase II assessments.
- Create visual, graphical, and tabular summaries to effectively communicate environmental data trends.
- Collaborate with Project Managers (PMs) and Assistant PMs (APMs) in planning environmental investigation and remediation activities.
- Ensure strict adherence to Arcadis and client health and safety (H&S) policies and promote a safety-first culture.
- Perform primarily office-based work (~90% office, ~10% field), ideal for those interested in office-focused environmental consulting with minimal advanced math requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental studies, geology, environmental studies or similar degree area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship or work experience in environmental consulting or similar industry

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $60,406 - $79,023 / per year. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
