Environmental Air Quality Engineer - Ambient Air Monitoring Team
Clean Air Engineering (CleanAir) is a leading global environmental engineering and consulting
company, in business since 1972. CleanAirâs Air Quality Monitoring Services team, located in
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has an immediate opening for a full-time, entry-level Environmental
Air Quality Engineer to support the growth of its ambient air monitoring services business.

cutting-edge measurement technologies.
The candidate must hold a degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Sciences, or a
related field. The successful applicant will work closely with project managers to implement
specific project tasks and will be part of a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists in a
flexible work environment.
The position will involve the following key responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation and implementation of next-generation ambient air and fugitive
emissions measurement systems, or a network of such systems.
- Analyze, interpret, and report monitoring data.
- Contribute to the development of new services and products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorâs degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field
- 0-3 years of experience
- Mechanical aptitude with a curiosity to tinker
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to travel to project sites both in the U.S. and internationally
- Experience with air monitoring instrumentation
- Familiarity with using hand tools and voltmeters
