Job Summary
<\/h3>
As a Sustainability Engineer<\/b> within the Group Sustainability team, you will be pivotal in shaping the organization’s green roadmap. You will bridge the gap between corporate strategy and plant operations, ensuring data -driven compliance and pioneering new initiatives in carbon footprint reduction and social responsibility.

Job Responsibilities
<\/h3>
Strategic Monitoring:<\/b> Plan and oversee sustainability management activities across the entire Group of companies to ensure alignment with corporate goals.
<\/p><\/li>
Data Governance:<\/b> Lead the collection and collation of qualitative and quantitative sustainability data to support transparent reporting and performance tracking.
<\/p><\/li>
Compliance & Auditing:<\/b> Conduct regular site assessments to identify implementation gaps and advise management on corrective actions for regulatory compliance.
<\/p><\/li>
Operational Integration:<\/b> Collaborate directly with plant operation teams to develop and execute actionable sustainability roadmaps.
<\/p><\/li>
Environmental Conservation:<\/b> Spearhead improvements in resource management, including water security, air pollution control, recycling, and waste reduction.
<\/p><\/li>
Research & Innovation:<\/b> Identify and investigate critical areas such as renewable energy, climate change, and carbon footprint optimization.
<\/p><\/li>
Social Impact & Advocacy:<\/b> Analyze human influence on the environment and advise departments on human rights and social impact requirements.

Stakeholder Advisory:<\/b> Act as a consultant to internal policymakers regarding environmental best practices and emerging global standards.

Requirements
<\/h3>
Education:<\/b> Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Environmental Studies<\/b>, Environmental Engineering, or a related professional discipline.
<\/p><\/li>
Experience:<\/b> A minimum of 2–3 years<\/b> of proven experience in the environmental or sustainability sector.
<\/p><\/li>
Technical Knowledge:<\/b> Deep familiarity with local and international environmental standards, with specific expertise in Climate Change, Pollution Control, and Resource Management.<\/b>
<\/p><\/li>
Soft Skills:<\/b> Analytical mindset with creative problem -solving abilities and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
<\/p><\/li>
Communication:<\/b> Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential for technical reporting; the ability to speak Mandarin is a significant advantage.

Mobility:<\/b> Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and a willingness to travel to various sites as required.
