For our ongoing utility-scale photovoltaic project located in the Szihalom region (near Budapest), we are initiating the recruitment of an O&M Coordinator to support both the construction/commissioning phase and the operational phase of the plant. The selected candidate will be involved from the late construction stage, ensuring commissioning readiness and a smooth handover to operations. After commissioning, the role will transition into full responsibility for managing long-term O&M activities.
Main responsibilities:
- Support the construction and commissioning phase, ensuring O&M readiness, documentation completeness, and proper handover from EPC to operations;
- Coordinate and supervise site-based technical teams during commissioning and operational phases;
- Prepare, implement, and update preventive maintenance schedules and corrective maintenance plans for the PV plant;
- Coordinate and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with technical, safety, and contractual requirements;
- Perform and supervise commissioning activities, troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and performance monitoring of PV systems;
- Identify technical issues, analyze root causes, and develop corrective and improvement action plans;
- Record, track, and report faults, deficiencies, and abnormal events, including time and material usage;
- Manage warranty claims and coordinate corrective actions with equipment suppliers and contractors;
- Interface with contractors, service providers, and key stakeholders on technical and operational matters;
- Provide regular written reports on site activities, plant performance, and operational status;
- Ensure adherence to O&M procedures, HSE standards, and best industry practices.
Your profile:
- Language: Native Hungarian speaker; good command of English (minimum B2 level);
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering;
- Experience: Proven experience in O&M of utility-scale PV power plants;
- Technical expertise:
- Hands-on experience with commissioning of PV plants;
- Strong background in troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance;
- Experience with PV performance monitoring and analysis.
- Skills:
- Strong coordination and organizational skills;
- Ability to manage site teams and interface with multiple contractors and stakeholders;
- Clear and effective communication skills;
- Proactive mindset with strong ownership and problem-solving attitude.
- Availability: Willing and able to be site-based in the Szihalom region
