As an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager, you will be successful by building and sustaining a safety‑first culture across North America. At the heart of this role is ensuring our people are protected through a well‑designed and well‑executed EHS program that meets or exceeds all regulatory requirements.
The Environmental Health & Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing all Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives across Rabobank’s North America operations, including Canada, Mexico, and the United States. The role focuses on creating and sustaining a safe work environment by developing, executing, and maintaining a comprehensive EHS program that meets or exceeds all regulatory requirements. This includes implementing policies, training, investigations, reporting, and risk assessments that reduce workplace hazards and ensure compliance. Through this work, the role strengthens our organizational resilience and protects our people supporting Rabobank’s mission and operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities
Lead Rabobank’s North America EHS strategy shaping a safety‑first culture across diverse operations in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
Champion compliance and best‑in‑class safety practices by navigating complex OSHA, local, state, federal, and country‑specific regulations.
Drive proactive risk reduction through meaningful hazard assessments, continuous‑improvement processes, and hands‑on field engagement.
Take ownership of incident investigations and corrective actions, using insights to prevent recurrence and elevate organizational safety performance.
Serve as the organization’s EHS expert, empowering teams through training, emergency preparedness, safety communication, and strong leadership during critical events.
Your Promise to Us:
To be considered for the Environmental Health and Safety Manager role, you must have:
5+ years’ experience
Bachelor’s degree required in related field
Professional certifications preferred
Ability to travel regionally and Globally, up to 15%

Salary Expectations:
Target Hiring Range: $125,000.00 – 140,000.00
This position is subject to the terms of [RAF/Rabobank/RDS]’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to [RAF/Rabobank/RDS] employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
