QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field required.
- Demonstrated experience leading environmental compliance and safety programs within the automotive or related industrial environment.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA requirements and local, state, and federal environmental regulations, including corrective action implementation.
- Proven ability to lead teams, influence cross-functional partners, and drive change in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) preferred.
- This role supports 600+ locations across approximately 30 states.
- Travel required approximately 30–40%, with potential travel up to 50% based on business needs.
- Hybrid work preferred at the company headquarters in Westmont, IL; qualified remote candidates will be considered.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
