(Corporate Responsibilities Human Resources) Department Intern – Summer 2026
Summary: We’re looking for a curious, energetic, and purpose-driven intern to support our Corporate Responsibility (CR) strategy and help drive positive change across our company. This is an immersive internship experience where you’ll support multiple corporate departments and manufacturing plants. If you’re excited by impact and love connecting dots across teams, this role is for you. You’ll report to the CR Manager and collaborate closely with Human Resources, Operations, and Employee Engagement partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Support zero-waste initiatives including developing our zero-waste playbook and reviewing waste data to identify operational improvement opportunities
- Support the Green Team and employee culture efforts through the creation of onboarding materials, planning sustainability or social impact–focused events, and pulse surveys
- Help coordinate employee culture and community-focused initiatives such as Habitat for Humanity and B Local CT events
- Support B Corp–related work, including reviewing updated standards, identifying improvement opportunities, and mapping how departments contribute to impact goals
- Conduct benchmarking research on peer companies and competitors related to sustainability reporting and corporate storytelling
- Support recruiting and onboarding efforts by reviewing job postings, benchmarking careers pages, and coordinating interviews
Learning Opportunities
- Exposure to how corporate sustainability is integrated into day-to-day business and manufacturing operations
- Hands-on experience with CR, HR, operations, collaborating to drive impact
- Experience with tracking, analyzing, and celebrating meaningful progress across environmental and social initiatives
- Practical skills in research, communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration
Qualifications
- Rising Junior or Rising Senior currently enrolled in college
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Passion for sustainability, employee engagement, and organizational culture
- Curious, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
