Description:
Allnorth is seeking skilled Commissioning Instrumentation Technicians to join our turnaround team on various locations in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
This role involves:
- Instrumentation Commissioning
- SIS and other control checks
- Instrument trouble shooting and repairs
- Control valve trouble shooting and repairs
As a successful applicant, you will be part of a professional team committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Details:
- Shift: 6 days on / 1 days off; 10-12 hour shifts per day
- LOA & Travel Allowance: Provided
- Project Type: Instrumentation Commissioning
- Location: Carseland, Joffre, and Regina Saskatchewan
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- Journeyman Electrician Certificate
- Proven experience in industrial instrumentation work
- Ability to work away from home on a rotational basis (14 days on, 7 days off)
- Valid certifications: CSTS 2020, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, and Aerial/Elevated Work Platform (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to site safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation to the job site (where applicable)
- Computer skills are necessary, with proficiency in Bluebeam for redlining drawings. While experience with Bluebeam is not a disqualifier, candidates with the ability to use this software will have an advantage in completing project tasks efficiently.
