Responsibilities
- Lead the commissioning of photovoltaic plants, ensuring that hazard and risk analyses are conducted prior to the start of activities. Coordinate start-up activities with Project Management, Engineering, Construction, HSE, Contractors, Facility Operations, and Commissioning personnel. Oversee on-site materials management and logistics.
- Perform general technical and engineering activities, including regulatory compliance reviews, project planning, grid connection cost assessments, technical design, preparation and evaluation of tender specifications, design reviews, and other key aspects of renewable energy project development.
- Prepare reports and documentation at the completion of each activity. Manage all commissioning documentation, including Taking-Over Certificates, as-built drawings, manufacturer manuals and instructions, punch lists, test procedures, risk assessments and method statements, permits, and final commissioning reports.
- Participate in design phases to ensure proper alignment and integration of all commissioning activities.
- Serve as the main point of contact for client relationships, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the construction of photovoltaic (PV) projects.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project plans.
- Strong technical knowledge of commissioning processes and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
- English level B2 (able to actively participate and lead meetings in English).
- Availability and willingness to travel nationally and/or internationally.
