Summary
This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the plant production and common use areas of the plant.
Schedule
- Sunday – Thursday, 10pm – 6:30am
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate floor scrubbing machine to clean floors in plant production areas
- Use sweeper to clean parking lot and truck lot
- Clean and maintain organization in the common use areas of the plant: employee entrance, lobby area, and break rooms
- Identify and sort loose recyclables from garbage.
- Maintain clean restrooms.
- Sweep and mop floor areas.
- Recognize and properly use cleaning supplies and chemicals.
- Identify and complete tasks as needed without supervision
Education/Experience
- H.S. diploma or GED preferred but not required
Requirements – Skills, Job Knowledge & Abilities
- Must be available to work schedule as posted and overtime as necessary.
- Speak, understand, read, and write the English language sufficiently to perform the job.
- Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification as needed
- Lift 50 lbs
