Material Coordinator

Material Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Responsible for coordinating the transfer of raw materials, parts, and finished products between the source and final destination
- Monitors material requirements
- Tracks movements with purchasing, production, and warehouses
- Ensure material inventory levels are sufficient to meet production schedules or inventory requirements
- Input data into Netsuite to produce reports and demand estimates
- Maintain an efficient request system, through which employees can check the availability of essential supplies and check the status of materials they have ordered
- Works with vendors, coordinating materials storage, preparing for deliveries, and creating an effective organizational scheme.
Material Coordinator Skills & Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with CRM systems, particularly Netsuite
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong client service skills
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Adaptable and eager to learn; self-starter who is willing to wear multiple hats to accomplish goals and can work independently w/o supervision once trained
- Team-oriented
- Someone who thinks outside the box and brings new ideas
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Prior solar energy experience is a plus
