Key Responsibilities
1. Global IT Operations
● Own day-to-day IT operations across all global locations
● Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of IT systems and
networks
● Act as the primary escalation point for critical IT incidents and outages
● Establish and monitor IT service levels (SLAs) and operational KPIs
2. Infrastructure & Systems Management
● Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure (Azure / AWS / GCP, as applicable)
● Administer enterprise platforms including:
o Google Workspace / Microsoft 365
o Slack
o Identity and access management systems
o Endpoint, device, and IT asset management (MDM)
● Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity readiness
3. Cybersecurity, Access & Compliance
● Define, implement, and enforce IT security policies, standards, and controls
● Own user access governance, role-based access control, and periodic access
reviews
● Ensure endpoint security, vulnerability management, and timely system
patching
● Support internal and external audits and compliance requirements (ISO, SOC,
GDPR, etc., as applicable)
4. Employee IT Onboarding & Offboarding (Org-wide Ownership)
● Design and own the end-to-end IT onboarding framework across the
organization
● Ensure timely setup of system access, email, collaboration tools, and role-
based applications
● Partner closely with HR and business stakeholders to align onboarding
timelines and access requirements
● Own and enforce secure IT offboarding processes, ensuring:
o Immediate revocation of all system access
o Device and asset recovery
o Data security and confidentiality compliance
● Periodically audit onboarding and offboarding controls to mitigate access and
security risks
5. Application & Tools Management
● Act as the technology custodian for enterprise applications including HRIS,
ERP, Finance, and project management platforms
● Manage application availability, performance, security, integrations, and
upgrades
● Partner with business owners (HR, Finance, Operations) on functional
requirements and enhancements
● Own application access governance, license management, and usage
optimization
● Drive automation, tool rationalization, and system efficiency across the
organization
6. Vendor, Asset & Cost Management
● Manage global IT vendors, service providers, and licensing partners
● Negotiate contracts, SLAs, renewals, and cost optimization initiatives
● Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and lifecycle management
7. User Support & Experience
● Ensure timely and effective IT support for employees across regions and time
zones
● Continuously improve end-user experience through standardization,
automation, and self-service solutions
8. Strategic Enablement
● Partner with leadership on digital transformation and scalability initiatives
● Enable secure expansion into new geographies, teams, and business units
● Proactively recommend technology improvements aligned to business
priorities
Key Skills & Competencies
● Strong hands-on experience in global IT operations and infrastructure
● Expertise in access management, endpoint security, and employee lifecycle
IT controls
● Solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and compliance
frameworks
● Strong vendor management and cost optimization skills
● High ownership mindset with the ability to work independently
● Effective communication and stakeholder management across cultures and
time zones
Qualifications & Experience
● Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
● 8–12 years of progressive IT experience
● Experience managing global or multi-country IT operations
● Exposure to fast-growing, technology-driven, or project-based organizations
preferred
● Strong Google Workspace environment experience.
● Relevant certifications (Azure, AWS, ITIL, Security) are an advantage
Role Clarification

● Functional ownership of applications rests with respective business
stakeholders
