Join the Global Sustainability team and work on Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy, voluntary and regulatory reporting. You will work with our Global Sustainability team and subject matter experts across the company to collect, develop, and audit both qualitative and quantitative data for inclusion in Ford’s global Integrated Sustainability and Financial Report and Sustainability Statement.
ResponsibilitiesWhat you'll do...
- Participate in the development and execution of global sustainability Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) strategy, regulatory and voluntary reporting, metric collection and benchmarking.
- Global examples include:
- Strategies: Implement and improve environmental or social strategies at Ford globally to support regulatory requirements or increased transparency in reporting, with internal subject matter experts and external global partners
- Reports: Assist in the development of the Ford Integrated Sustainability and Financial Report, Sustainability Statement, and ESG Indices such as the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board report or UN Sustainable Development Goals reporting
- Assist with the implementation of corporate policy and governance requirements for global sustainability regulations (EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, Australia Sustainability Reporting Standards, etc.)
- Communicate efforts globally within Ford (E&SC, OGC, Government Affairs, PD, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Labor Affairs, People Matters, DEI, etc.) and key external stakeholders (investors, NGOs, universities, third party rating agencies, etc.)
- Enhance reporting processes, data analytics, and data mapping related to key ESG metrics and disclosures across a variety of reports, frameworks and ratings
QualificationsYou'll have...
- BS in Engineering required.
- Effective oral and written communication and presentation capabilities across a broad range of organizations and management levels globally, including vice presidents
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Strong project management skills
- Self-motivated and ability to work in an unstructured environment
- Ability to work cross-functionally, within Ford and with external entities
- Strong relationship building
- Ability to work alternative schedule aligned with North America time zone

- Masters in Engineering or Business
- Previous experience and knowledge of E&SC processes, policies, and team members
- Previous experience demonstrating strong analytical and strategic skills
- Previous experience with external benchmarking or competitive analysis
- Previous experience in leading/administration of global forums
- Previous experience presenting to senior executives
- Experience with Workiva software desirable, not required

This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $84,480-141,360., This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $96,720-162,120.
