Who We Are Looking For:
Phoenix Tailings is looking for a Business Development Analyst to support commercial growth initiatives through research, analysis, and execution support. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is excited to work on market development, customer strategy, and partnership opportunities for a first-of-its-kind industrial company. You will work closely with Business Development Managers and Directors to help evaluate opportunities and move them forward.
This pay range reflects the expected compensation for this role and may vary based on experience and qualifications.
Salary Range: $70,000-$100,000

Key Responsibilities:- Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to support business development initiatives
- Build and maintain analytical models to evaluate commercial opportunities and strategic partnerships
- Support preparation of customer- and partner-facing materials, including presentations and proposals
- Track and organize business development pipelines, opportunities, and key stakeholder interactions
- Assist with structuring and execution of commercial discussions, including data gathering and analysis
- Support internal coordination to ensure commercial opportunities align with technical and operational capabilities
- Synthesize complex information into clear insights for senior business development leadership
Qualifications:- 1–3 years of experience in business analysis, strategy, consulting, corporate development, or a related role
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience building models and evaluating market data
- Experience creating clear, professional presentations and written materials
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Strong interest in infrastructure, industrial markets, clean technology, or critical materials
- Eagerness to learn, take ownership, and grow within a commercial role
