Our client within the solar industry is seeking a skilled Operations and Maintenance Business Developer. Candidates should have proven B2B sales experience, a strong technical understanding of solar PV systems, have existing industry relationships with asset owners, EPCs, and consulting engineers.
Candidates should have proven experience in having a successful and consistent pipeline of operations and management opportunities, having closed contracts without any hassles.
Experience within the electrical engineering, construction and consulting space would be advantageous.What a day in the role will look like:
- Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new O&M opportunities.
- Cold approach, warm introductions, and network-driven deal origination.
- Engage asset owners, EPCs, and consulting engineers in technical O&M conversations.
- Review O&M costing inputs and draft proposals for clients.
- Close O&M deals and hand over signed contracts to the operations team.
